Volunteers to Face Northern Kentucky in NCAA opener
First pitch scheduled for 7 pm
Tennessee will return to action on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament
The No. 1 overall seed Tennessee Volunteers will open up against Northern Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, June 1. First pitch is scheduled for 7 pm ET at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Volunteers are coming off a 51-11 season and won the SEC regular season and tournament championships. Northern Kentucky finished the season with a 25-29 record and won the Horizon League Tournament.
The game will be televised on the SEC Network and can be streamed live on ESPN+. Fans can also listen to the game on the Tennessee Sports Radio Network.
